X25519 KeyGen
Generates X25519 keypair for ECDH
Overview
Generates a 32-byte private key and 32-byte public key on the Montgomery curve Curve25519 for X25519 Diffie-Hellman key exchange (RFC 7748).
When to Use
- Generating ephemeral or static 32-byte keypairs for X25519 Key Exchange (ECDH) in TLS 1.3, WireGuard, Noise Protocol, or Signal.
Parameter Configuration
X25519 KeyGen has no configurable parameters; RFC 7748 fixes the Curve25519 Montgomery parameters and 32-byte key sizes.
Port I/O Specification
See Ports & Connections for general wiring rules, data type colors, and dynamic port creation.
Input Ports
This node has no input ports.
Output Ports
Port Nature: Fixed Output Ports (2 total).
| Port Name | Port ID | Data Type | Visibility Condition | Description |

Error Cases
This node has no runtime failure cases (errorProfile: none) and always succeeds for any valid typed input.
Examples
Generating Ephemeral X25519 Keypairs
Create 32-byte X25519 keypairs for key exchange.
- Place two X25519 KeyGen nodes and cross-connect their keys into X25519 Key Exchange (ECDH).
