Bytes to Hex
Encodes raw byte array into hexadecimal string representation
Overview
Encodes a raw byte array (Uint8Array) into a human-readable hexadecimal string (base-16, 2 hex digits per byte). You can customize the output formatting with lowercase or uppercase hex digits, an optional 0x prefix, and an optional byte delimiter (none, space, or colon).
If a non-Bytes value is connected in an untyped flow, the engine converts it via toBytesAuto before formatting.
When to Use
- Formatting binary ciphertexts, hashes, MAC tags, or public keys as hex strings for display, logging, or string comparison.
- Producing colon-separated MAC/fingerprint strings (
aa:bb:cc:...) or space-separated hex dumps (aa bb cc ...).
